Kuua
Kuua is the continent of the dragorn, once peaceful, now a blasted land under ash-dark skies after Discord’s invasion. Omens of War opened it in September 2004, through the Priests of Discord.

Omens of War
Omens of War was released on September 14, 2004 and raised the level cap to 70. It took the war with the Legion of Mata Muram off Taelosia and onto Kuua, the dragorn homeland. The story is told in Mata Muram and Discord and Dranik and the dragorn.
Kuua has no ship and no road from Norrath. You go by portal.
The Priests of Discord
To reach Kuua, speak with any Priest of Discord and ask about the land of Discord, and you arrive in Dranik’s Scar. To go home, speak to one of the priests standing in the Scar. The priests are not only in the Plane of Knowledge: the zone-line map files mark one there and others in about twenty home-city zones, from Qeynos, Freeport and Halas to Grobb, Oggok, Shar Vahl and Rivervale.
So the way in is a portal, not a zone line. Our map draws it as a route off the south edge of Dranik’s Scar, labelled for the priests and the Plane of Knowledge.

Ash and darkness
A history kept in the ruined capital says that only a few years ago the skies of Kuua were blue with light clouds. Then they filled with ash and darkness from the wars. The dragorns’ minds darkened first, then the sky, as brother turned on brother for the first time in their history.
Noble Yemall of the High Council of Eight found the cause before the fighting truly began: a sickness in the air, a rippling wave of dark magic that could not be felt or touched. Our map draws the land the way those pages describe it: craters, broken ridges and a ruined city under a dark sky.

The children of Dranik
The dragorn believe they were all created by the death of one great dragon, Dranik, the great father. The first of them made many things in his honour, among them the Blood Standard, painted with a drop of blood from each of Dranik’s firstborn sons. The last armies to carry it fell to the Muramites.
The High Council of Eight was captured, nobles were taken and their houses ransacked, and many dragorn now serve the legion. A few hold out: a small rebel force in Dranik’s Scar, a tanner and his apprentice in the Bloodfields, a serf on Nobles’ Causeway, a chaplain on the Wall of Slaughter.

The zones
Dranik’s Scar is the hub, with Harbingers’ Spire and the Hollows to its east. West of it, the Bloodfields, once the Greenfields, lead to the Ruined City of Dranik, with its catacombs and sewers beneath. North of it, Nobles’ Causeway runs to the Wall of Slaughter.
Beyond the Wall lie the Muramite Proving Grounds, a steel-walled labyrinth with Riftseekers’ Sanctum inside, and the Asylum of Anguish, the great raid where Mata Muram waits.

Trials and raids
The six Projections of the Proving Grounds each offer a group trial and a raid trial, and the raid trials together make up the access quest for Anguish. The Catacombs, Sewers and Hollows of Dranik are group instances opened by the Grand Historians Rygua and Gersh.

How our map is drawn
Our map follows the zone-line files for every link, and on Kuua they agree with the in-game map without any turn. The Scar is in the south, the Bloodfields to its west and the Ruined City north-west of them. The Causeway runs north to the Wall, the Proving Grounds lie north-east of the Wall, and Anguish is on the north-western peninsula.
Instances are drawn as icons near their entrances. The way back to Norrath is a route off the south edge, because it is the priests’ portal, not a zone line.
