Nobles’ Causeway

The road north

The Causeway connects Dranik’s Scar to the Wall of Slaughter. Hulking bazus, undead murkgliders and ferans infest it, along with many dragorn who now work for the Muramites. Slavedriver Menlo, Grinbar the Ancient and the ridgerunners Droongar and Drunt are among its named.

A serf’s debt

Nerask, a serf, is alone. His master Patorav was a wise and kind noble who hid him in the rubble when the Muramites came. Nerask did nothing to save him and feels he betrayed his trust. Patorav was taken with many other nobles and elders, and his house ransacked.

The dragorn honour their dead by honouring their deeds and favourite things. So Nerask asks you to bring back what was stolen: a walking stick topped with the jewel of a whispering spirit, and a locket from his master’s father. In return he gives you his master’s clothes.

Taken nobles

Nerask’s story is the Causeway’s story. The High Council of Eight and the nobles who lived along this road were captured or killed, and their homes picked over. The Wall of Slaughter and the Proving Grounds beyond show what became of many of them. See Dranik and the dragorn.

Where it sits

The zone-line files join the Causeway to Dranik’s Scar to the south and the Wall of Slaughter to the north. That is also how the in-game map runs. The zone suits characters of about level 60 to 75.

Zone record at a glance

The zone database lists Nobles’ Causeway as an outdoor zone, open to everyone, with no key or instance needed. Its listed level range is 60 to 75.

The same record names its neighbours as Dranik's Scar and Wall of Slaughter. The map on this page draws only the links the map-pack zone lines confirm.
