The Ruined City of Dranik

Darkened skies

A history kept in the city tells how, only a few years ago, the skies of Kuua filled with ash and darkness from the wars. They had been blue with light clouds. The dragorns’ minds darkened first, then the skies, when brother turned on brother for the first time in their history.

Noble Yemall of the High Council of Eight saw an illness on the air before the fighting began. He found that the air itself was sick and that it caused the strife: a rippling wave of dark magic that could not be felt or touched.

What is left

This was the home of the peaceful dragorn before Discord’s army overran it, and not much of the fallen city remains. Zun`Muram Volklana commands here. Ikaav slaveherders, kyv bowhounds and murkglider deathstings roam the streets, and stoneworkers and bridgekeepers serve the legion. Jurrock, a survivor, has suffered much since Mata Muram came, and asks you for a favour or two.

Below the streets

Grand Historian Rygua opens the way to two sets of group instances. The Catacombs of Dranik lie under the northern part of the ruins, and the Sewers of Dranik under the southern part. Dragorn champions, marshals and enchantresses wait in the catacombs, and craftsmen and ukun sentinels in the sewers.

Where it sits

The zone-line files join the city to the Bloodfields and mark the entrances to the catacombs and the sewers. Our map draws the city in the west, as the in-game map does, with the catacombs at its north end and the sewers at its south. It suits characters of about level 65 to 75.
