Vegarlson, the Earthen Badlands
Vegarlson, the Earthen Badlands, is the Plane of Earth: a realm of jungles, caverns, muddy lakes and monumental earthen temples, home to the Rathe, with their stronghold Ragrax deeper within.
Jewels and temples
The Plane of Earth is home to the Rathe, the embodiment and consciousness of pure, primal earth. The land is varied, with jungles, caverns, muddy lakes and burrows, and it is full of precious jewels forced up by the powers of the earth.
The many structures in the plane are earthen temples of monumental size, beyond anything mortal builders could make, and they are home to the servants of the Rathe and other creatures of the plane.
The Rathe at rest
The Rathe themselves live in the vast open spaces of the plane, where their essence is woven into the realm itself. Their bodies, made of earth and plant life, feed forever on the warmth of the plane’s own sun.
An older war fought over this plane is told in our lore page on the war for the Plane of Earth. The zone suits levels 60 to 75 and notes that live servers need level 60 to enter without a flag.
The way to Ragrax
The Earth progression runs: Tantisala Jaggedtooth, then the rings of Dust, Rock, Stone and Vine, then the Mystical Arbitor of Earth, after which you have access to the second part of the plane. In detail: you enter the gem mines guarded by the crocodile Tantisala Jaggedtooth, kill the Arbitor and speak to the Planar Projection to open the way into Ragrax, Stronghold of the Twelve.
Once you have entered Ragrax from the gem mines, that page says, you can use the portal at the zone-in of the Plane of Earth. Our map shows Ragrax as a fortress on the Earth island, not as an island of its own.

The Mound of Living Stone
In Ragrax the Rathe Council event follows. A community wiki lists the Mound of Living Stone, from the Rathe, as one of the four elemental shields, and it is won by defeating the Avatar of Earth. Combined in an Odylic Vial with the other three shields, it makes the Quintessence of Elements that opens the Plane of Time.
The Mound is also an alternate flag that gives zone-in access to the Plane of Earth alone. Player guides join Vegarlson to the Plane of Tranquility and to Ragrax.
