Oggok
The ogres’ city, mostly underground in a cove off the Feerrott: a few huts and one great building above, twisting halls below, a full set of trade tools, and warriors who hate everyone but themselves.
Below the cove
Oggok lies in a cove off the Feerrott, on the steamy southern edge of Antonica. From above you would see only a few small huts and one large building jutting from the cove’s side; most of the city is underground, carved out despite the cramped space. It is very confusing to newcomers. Like the Grobb entry, the EQ Atlas description came partly from the troll Jubjub, who had friends among the ogres but no love for them.
Ogres begin here as beastlords, shadow knights, shamans and warriors. Allakhazam’s entire description reads: “Home of da ogres. Nuff said.”

Smash
The EQ Atlas sums up the ogres as the brute force of evil: not complex enough to plan like the dark elves, without the trolls’ sinister appeal, but very good at what they like best, smashing. The main warriors’ guild is no place for anyone but an ogre. Unlike Grobb, Oggok has every tool a craftsman needs: brewery, forge, kiln, oven and pottery wheel.
The ogres’ god is Rallos Zek, the Warlord.

Neighbours
Many ogres live near town and are safe through sheer strength; the Feerrott’s creatures are weaker than Innothule’s, and the lizard men keep to small camps an organised ogre band could wipe out. The Rathe Mountains are haunted by the ghosts of ruined towns, with hill giants near Lake Rathe. Ogres travel to Innothule to smash frogloks for their cloth-like skins, since there are no bears nearby for tailors.
The city’s Bouncers, Bouncer Hurd most often, roam the Feerrott outside: aggressive to all good races, fast and hard-hitting. The EQ Atlas once watched a train of eight lizard men chase a troll across the bridge toward Oggok.

Roads out
The city opens into the Feerrott where a small ogre town of huts and shops stands, many of the artisans living outside the walls within reach of the guards. Northwest through the Rathe Mountains lie the Plains of Karana; east through Innothule Swamp lie the Desert of Ro and Freeport.
